A few trips to the hospital later.
Things are okay, but the doctors have no clue what it is.
Vascular Dr. *pokes* hmmm I think some anti- inflammatories and a hot compress, and antibiotics, in case it's an infection. (the American doctor's drug of choice)
Okay so Mike is taking Motrin, an occasional hot washcloth, and antibiotics! God Bless.
Mike's room is on the 15th floor, the room has a great view of the village and Jersey.
There isn't much to do in a hospital room.
Half a dozen balloons took to the sky one by one throughout the day. And there was one muggy sunset dipped into the chromium skyline of Jersey.
If that isn't enough Mike's nic fit reached alarming heights so I encouraged him break out. Street clothes under hospital jammies we walked undetected past the nurses station, then Mike snuck into the WC bagged his scrubs and covered his iv tube with a long sleve shirt. We hit the streets and made it back, no one noticed, or maybe more likely, no one cared, but what a thrill.
